The Spain Golden Visa issued at the Embassy is valid for one year. Within this year, you must enter Spain and exchange the visa for a residence permit, which is valid for three years. After three years, it can be renewed for another five years and subsequently every five years without additional stay requirements, provided the investment is maintained. To apply for permanent residence, you must live in Spain for at least six months per year for five years.
